Description
Scale wheel stops were designed after prototype wheel stops found along the Capital Crescent TrailĀ in Bethesda Maryland. The Capital Cresent trail follows the now abandon Georgetown Branch of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad.
Still strapped in place in 2019 along a siding that appeared to serve as a unload spot for tank cars carrying oil to bulk storage tanks from the 1940s to 1950s.
Having previously purchased wheel stops that were grossly oversized I tried to replicate these as close to scale as possible and still have some reasonable amount of strength to stop a model car. After successfully testing them on my own layout I am happy to say that they will make a great addition to any model railroad.

These are the finest wheel stops on the market. Surprisingly resilient, too. Easy to install & detail and really complete a scene. These types were found all over the country, too. Thanks for making these!
