Description
Scale wheel stops were designed after prototype wheel stops found along the Capital Crescent Trail in Bethesda Maryland. The Capital Crescent trail follows the now abandon Georgetown Branch of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. These wheel stops were still strapped in place in 2019 along a siding that appeared to serve as a unload spot for tank cars. The tank cars carried bulk fuel oil bound for storage tanks located in the area from the 1930s to the 1950s.
Having previously purchased wheel stops that were grossly oversized I tried to replicate these as close to scale as possible and still have some reasonable amount of strength to stop a model car. After successfully testing them on my own layout I am happy to say that they will make a great addition to any model railroad.

Ben Sullivan –
These are the finest wheel stops on the market. Surprisingly resilient, too. Easy to install & detail and really complete a scene. These types were found all over the country, too. Thanks for making these!
