This GP9 accessory tray fits all O Scale Red Caboose GP9 locomotives with our aluminum frame and P&D Hobbies motor conversion. The tray is designed to for mounting DCC decoders or other accessories over top of the motor drive shaft. All metal frames sold by us include the mounting hole for this tray.

It’s a tray. How much can be said? This one is well designed, and it’s made of quality materials. It’s not flimsy and it does a great job of providing a stable place for the DCC decoder. It beats the other ways of mounting & hiding your electronics in the shell. It may be just a tray, but it does it’s job very well.
